XJTAG also to exhibit alongside Fuji Setsubi at Nepcon World Japan (Electrotest Japan), East Hall 2, Booth 10-29, 28-30 January 2009, Tokyo Big Site, Tokyo, Japan
CAMBRIDGE, England, January 15, 2009 — XJTAG (www.xjtag.com), a leading global supplier of IEEE Std. 1149.x boundary scan development systems, has signed a new distribution agreement with Fuji Setsubi (www.fuji-setsu.co.jp), a market leading provider of software and hardware solutions for the embedded systems market. Fuji Setsubi will be selling the XJTAG system into its established base of embedded electronics engineering customers in Japan.
Simon Payne, XJTAG’s CEO, said: “We are delighted to be working with an established and experienced distributor that has credibility in the embedded systems market and that shares our enthusiasm for the powerful XJTAG debug, test and programming system.
“Japan is an important market for XJTAG as many of the major players in consumer electronics are based in the region. It is these companies, typically designing complex products featuring high density printed circuit boards with ball grid array (BGA) devices, that can really benefit from the significant reduction in product development timescales that our boundary scan system delivers.”
Yoshio Asano, COO at Fuji Setsubi, said: “XJTAG is a cost-effective and developer-friendly boundary scan system that enables engineers to debug and test a high proportion of their PCBs, including those containing BGA and chip scale packages. We have been impressed by the product, by the technical support and training, and by XJTAG’s willingness to work with us to understand our customers’ requirements.”
To support its foray into the Japanese market and into the Asia generally, XJTAG will also be exhibiting alongside Fuji Setsubi at Nepcon World Japan, Asia’s largest show for electronics design, R&D and manufacturing. XJTAG will be exhibiting as part of Electrotest Japan in East Hall 2, Booth 10-29. The event takes place at Tokyo Big Site, Tokyo, Japan, from 28-30 January, 2009.
“XJTAG now has representation in almost 50 countries and an increasing presence in Asia with partners in Japan, China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore,” added Simon Payne. “XJTAG is fast becoming a ‘must-have’ product for electronics designers and manufactures alike, and we will continue to expand our global presence and support our partners, such as Fuji Setsubi, by attending major trade shows with them.”
XJTAG’s boundary scan development system is a cost-effective solution for the entire product lifecycle. It is used worldwide by design engineers, developers, OEMs and contract manufacturers for debugging, testing and programming complex BGA-populated printed circuit boards and systems.
XJTAG has a global network of distributors servicing Europe, the Far East, North and South America, the Middle East and Australasia.

About XJTAG (www.xjtag.com)
XJTAG is a leading global supplier of IEEE Std. 1149.x compliant boundary scan development systems. XJTAG offers a highly competitive solution for designers and developers of electronic printed circuit boards and systems. Utilising XJTAG allows the circuit design, development and manufacturing process to be shortened significantly by facilitating early development of reconfigurable and re-useable test scripts that can be used from design validation through prototype debugging and on into manufacturing.
The XJTAG development system enables engineers to debug and test a high proportion of the circuit (both JTAG and non-JTAG/cluster devices) including BGA and chip scale packages, such as SDRAMs, Ethernet controllers, video interfaces, Flash memories, FPGAs and microprocessors. XJTAG also enables In-System Programming of FPGAs, CPLDs and Flash memories, and XJTAG clients have access to a library of device-centric test scripts.
XJTAG is based in Cambridge, UK, and is part of the Cambridge Technology Group. XJTAG has a global network of distributors servicing Europe, the Far East, North and South America, the Middle East and Australasia.
